03.03.2010; Conditions applicable to semen collection centres, semen storage centres, embryo collection teams and embryo production teams
According to EU legislation only semen, ova and embryos of certain animals which satisfy the following requirements may be imported into the European Community:
(a) they must come from a third country from a special list,
(b) they must be accompanied by a special health certificate,
(c) they must come from approved collection and storage centres or collection and production teams offering guarantees at least equivalent to those established in special EU legislation.
